What’s My Elevator Pitch?

DEFINITION of ‘Elevator Pitch’. A slang term used to describe a brief speech that outlines an idea for a product, service or project.

Here I am again ready to let the creative juices flow. Today I am going to write about my elevator speech, and the prompt I received basically explains that I just need to discuss what I’m excited and passionate about, what am I building on or want to build upon, be it personal or business related.

This topic immediately sparked off an idea I once heard a while back on a podcast (don’t ask me which one, I’ve so many on the go)! It was this, the next time someone asks you what you do, instead of saying oh I’m an architect, a banker, a computer programmer etc. lead with well I’m really passionate about …….. , or I’m working on ……… at the moment. I think it’s super idea and makes you much more interesting to chat to.

So on that train of thought, if someone asks me what I do, this is what I’m going to lead with when I can.

I’m working on really finding my passion right now. I’m also enjoying getting back into photography and being creative. Furthermore, I get a lot of joy from helping others connect with their true values and what really gets them excited. I also happen to work in customer service.

Something like that? Perhaps leave off the last part, I mean, is there really any need to put it in?

Have a great day everyone …
